According to California Proposition 65, products that contain chemicals that may cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm require warning labels. Here is the list of over 900 chemicals noted by the State of California. To comply with the law of California, you may see a warning label on Acaia products that reads:
WARNING:This product can expose you to chemicals including Nickel (Metallic), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to p65warnings.ca.gov.
